Desde que empezó el mes ya estaba ansiosa porque llegara la época otoñal y al parecer alguien no le ha avisado al clima porque no se decide si llueve como si no hubiera un mañana o hace mucho calor. Pero no me ha detenido de empezar a probar más colores otoñales y este mes mis favoritos ya empiezan a reflejar mi amor por esta época.

Toda la línea de otoño de OPI me cautivó pero no he podido dejar de usar este color. Sé que puede parecer al principio un poco raro, pero a mi que me encantan los tonos verdes y azules para las uñas, este tono es la perfecta transición para otoño. 

All the OPI fall line stole my heart but I won't stop using this shade. I know it can look a bit weird, but since I'm a huge fan of green or blue nail polishes, this shade is the perfect transition for me. 

Burt's Bees Cranberry and Pomegranate Body Scrub

Este producto, aunque no tenga nada que ver con el otoño, me encanta porque huele exactamente como una bebida navideña. Lo uso una vez a la semana y me encanta porque hidrata la piel y al mismo tiempo la exfolia, dejando un increíble olor. Realmente tengo tentación de probar algún producto de la misma línea. 

This product, although hasn't anything autumnal, I love because it smells exactly like a Christmasy drink. I use it once a week and I love it because it's hydrating, exfoliates the skin and the delicious smell lingers. I'm really tempted to try another product from the same line. 

Kat Von d Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Lolita

Este lipstick llevaba más de un año buscándolo y nunca estaba disponible en la tienda o se había agotado mundialmente. Así que cuando lo vi en la tienda, no lo pensé más y me lo tuve que llevar conmigo. Esta marca de por si me encanta, pero este lipstick me sorprendió es muy pigmentado, de alta duración, mate y el color es perfecto para usar diario sin llegar a verse muy dramático. Es un rosa con un toque de café que queda perfecto para mi tono de piel. 

I've been looking for this lipstick for more than a year and was never available or sold out globally. That's why when I spotted it in the store, I didn't hesitate and grabbed it. I already loved this brand but thislipstick wowed me because it's super pigmented, lasts for a long time, it's matte and has the perfect everyday color without looking too dramatic. It's a brownish pink that goes perfectly with my skin tone. 

Essence Make me Brow Gel 

Hace unos meses se me acabó mi gel de cejas favorito y decidí no volver a comprarlo porque se me hizo un poco caro, así que estaba viendo cual podía ser un buen substituto. Había leído bastante de este producto y aunque no había probado nada de esta marca, decidí comprarlo. Es el gel de Essence y quedé muy sorprendida especialmente por la calidad-precio. Es muy accesible y me gustó porque da volúmen a las cejas, un poco de color y las fija. 

A few months ago, I ran out of my favorite brow gel and decided to skip it because it is a bit expensive, so I was looking for a dupe. I've heard great reviews of this product and even if I haven't tried anything from this brand, I decided to purchase it. It's the Essence gel and I was pleasantly surprised especially comparing the price and the quality. It's really accesible and I like it because it's volumizing, gives a touch of color and holds the brows.

1. Missha

Esta fue la primera tienda de cosméticos coreanos que encontré ya que es bastante grande y establecida. Como no conozco mucho, quería ir a lo seguro y ver los productos en la tienda (aparte de ver los reviews). Hay varias sucursales o los puedes pedir en línea, la verdad el servicio me pareció muy bueno y las chicas que estaban atendiendo me ayudaron mucho en mis dudas y saber más acerca de los productos. Si apenas quieres empezar a ver algunos productos, te recomiendo mucho esta tienda.

This was the first korean beauty store I found because it's pretty big, visible and established. Because I don't know very much about the products I wanted to go safe and see the actual products in the store (aside from the online reviews). There are many stores or you can buy them online, the attention was really good and the girls answered all my questions and help me pick the products. If you are just starting to dip into the korean beauty products, this is the best store to start.

Es diminutivo de “Korean Cosmetics” y está en la colonia Cuauhtémoc. Esta tienda en especial tiene productos de skincare de diferentes marcas y todos los empaque son increíble. Tienen desde mascarillas, BB creams, tintas de labios, polvos, cremas y muchas cosas que están divinas. Puedes ir a su tienda física o también comprar online.

It's the short name for "Korean Cosmetics" and it's located in the Cuauhtémoc area. This store especially has skincare products from diverse brands and all the packaging is amazing. They have masks, sheet masks, BB creams, lip tints, powders, creams and tons of cute stuff. You can go into their physical store o their online one.

3.-Kinumi.Co

Ésta es una tienda física y online que se encuentra en el centro del DF. Yo fui a la tienda física pero si quieres algún producto que no lo tengan en stock o en su catálogo, se los puedes pedir para que lo traigan de Corea. Aquí puedes encontrar un poco de todo, cosméticos, ropa, accesorios, comida…todo muy kawaii. La verdad no conozco tanto de esa cultura, pero cualquier cosa que tenga moños la verdad es que me gana. Puedes encontrar cosas de Etude House, The Face Shop, Skin Food, Tony Moly y otras marcas famosas.

This is also a physical and online store that's located in Downtown Mexico City. I went to the physical store, but if you want a product that isn't in stock or isn't on their catalog, you can ask them to ship it from Korea. Here you can find a bit of everything, cosmetics, clothing, accesories, food...all of them very kawaii. Truth is I'm not very familiarized with the culture, but anything that has bows, has my attention. You can find Etude House, The Face Shop, Skin Food, Tony Moly products. 

4.- Tony Moly

Los productos de esta última tienda son algunos de mis favoritos, son lindísimos y funcionan increíble. La verdad debo ser sincera y decir que no tenían mucha variedad en la tienda física y no he pedido nada online. Pero si estás muy interesada en probar los productos, igual puedes darte una vuelta y ver si tienen en stock. 

The products in this store are some of my favorites, are super cute and work amazingly. Sincerly the time I went into the store they didn't have a lot of stock and I haven't ordered anything online. But if you are very interested in trying their products, you can go and see if they have more stock.

Primero que nada, debo confesar que soy una adicta total a los barnices de uñas y me encanta probar todos los colores bajo el arcoiris pero uno de los colores básicos que tod@s tenemos que tener es un tono nude. Si no sabes que color ponerte en cualquier ocasión (para el trabajo, para la escuela, una boda, para salir) este es el que necesitas. Encontrar el tono nude perfecto es difícil ya que muchos tienen demasiado rosa, blanco, café y pueden llegar a verse muy mal en las uñas. Cuando probé el tono Samoan Sand de OPI quedé enamorada, es un rosa palo que queda perfecto con mi tono de piel pero es lo suficientemente versátil para complementar muchos tonos de piel diferentes. Me encantó el color, lo opaco que es y que me duró casi una semana en las uñas sin retocar. Definitivamente necesitas este color de OPI si quieres el nude perfecto para tus uñas.

First of all, I must confess I'm a total addict to nail polishes and love to try every color under the rainbow but one of the basic color everyone needs is a nude. If you are undecided on what to wear on any ocasion (to work, go out, school, a wedding, etc.) this is the one shade you need. Finding the perfect one is difficult because they sometimes have too much pink, white or brown and can look a bit off on your nails. When I tried the shade Samoan Sand from OPI I fell in love, it's a tawny pink that matches mi skin tone perfectly and it's versatile enoguth to complement lots of skin tones. I loved the opacity and that it almost lasted an entire week without chipping. You definately need this OPI nail polish if you are looking for the perfect nude shade for your nails.

¿Qué producto sigues comprando a pesar de que ya tienes muchos en tu colección?

Creo que mi mayor debilidad son las paletas de sombras. Cada vez que veo que las marcas sacan sus nuevas colecciones, lo primero que veo son las paletas. En segundo lugar creo que los blushes… (:

 Which product do you still keep buying more of despite having plenty in your collection? 

I think my biggest weakness in makeup is definitely eyeshadow palettes. Everytime I see the brands releasing their new collections, the first thing I browse are the eyeshadow palettes. And in second place I love blushes.

¿Cuál es el producto con el cual no puedes vivir?

Creo que sería la base mineral original de Bareminerals, ha cambiado como me maquillo. Mi cara a veces se pone muy roja, con brotes y es muy sensible, así que necesito una base que cubra pero no empeore la situación, y esa hace todo eso bien. Después sería máscara de pestañas y blush;)

What's the one product you can't live without? 

I think it would be the Bareminerals original foundation, it has changed my makeup game. My face sometimes gets really red and with breakouts, on top it’s sensitive, so I need a foundation that covers but doesn´t aggravate my problem and it does just that. Then some mascara and blush ;)

Es una pregunta muy difícil, como escoger tu sabor de helado favorito…pero creo que mi marca favorita es Urban Decay. Todo lo que he probado es increíble, en especial sus paletas de sombras.

Favorite makeup brand?

This is a really hard question, like choosing your favorite ice cream flavor… but I think my favorite brand is Urban Decay. Everything I’ve tried from them is amazing and especially their eyeshadow palettes are the best. 

¿Qué tan grande es tu colección de maquillaje?

Tengo que admitirlo, es bastante grande pero es mi adicción.

 How big is your makeup collection?

I’ll have to admit it’s pretty big, it’s my addiction.

¿Y cómo la guardas?

Casi toda vive en un caja grande, toda ordenada y linda. Y tengo una bolsa de maquillaje afuera donde estan mis productos de diario.

And how do you store it? 

It lives in a box by my bed, all arranged and sparkly. And outside I keep a makeup bag with my daily essentials.

 I guess it would be Viviannadoesmakeup, she’s my favorite blogger and has amazing taste. Also if I could choose two, the other one will be Amelia Liana.

¿Cuánto te tardas usualmente en tu rutina de maquillaje y cuantos productos usas?

Generalmente me tardo 15-20 minutos y uso 10-12 productos. Primer de ojos, corrector, base, polvo, blush, sombras, máscara, delineador y algo en los labios. Sé que suena bastante pero me relaja maquillarme en las mañanas.

How long does your usual makeup routine take and how many products do you use? 

I'm usually take about 10-20 minutes to do my makeup with 10-12 products. Eyelid primer, concealer, foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadows, mascara, eyeliner and something on the lips. I know it sounds excessive but I find it relaxing to do my makeup in the mornings.

Muchas cosas, pero la primera es el perfume Viva la Juicy.

En el post de hoy les traigo una reseña rápida de la nueva paleta de Maybelline "The Nudes". La verdad es que cuando empecé a ver en internet su lanzamiento me emocioné bastante, mi debilidad son las paletas de sombras, me encantan y apasionan con locura. Había visto varias reseñas antes de que llegara a México y cuando la vi en el supermercado tuvo que irse conmigo. Su precio en la mayoría de tiendas y supermercados es de 199 pesos y a veces hay ofertas de descuento.

In today's post I have a quick review of the new Maybelline palette "The Nudes". Truth is when I started to see online its launching I was quite excited, my weakness are eyeshadow palettes which I love like crazy. I've seen many reviews before it launched in Mexico and when I saw it in the drugstore it had to go home with me. 

La verdad es que no me gusta hablar mal de los productos y en general me encantan los productos Maybelline, pero no me encantó tanto como esperaba. Se que nada se comparará con las sombras Urban Decay o MAC, pero me pareció regular la pigmentación en general. Algunos tonos son bastante pigmentados pero otros tienen una textura dura y es difícil que se muestren en el párpado. La selección de colores es súper bonita y neutral pero ya que la textura cambia mucho entre las sombras, hay algunas que parecen ser la misma ya que no pintan mucho.

Sincerely I don't like talking trash about products especially Maybelline ones but it didn't wowed me as I expected. I know that nothing will compare with Urban Decay or MAC eyeshadows but generally I found the pigmentation pretty regular. Some shades are quite pigmented but others have a rough texture and it's hard to show in the eyelid. The shade selection is super pretty and neutral but because the texture varies a lot from shadow to shadow, some look like the same shade. 

Si se usa un primer o corrector bajo las sombras mejora considerablemente pero aún así no es una paleta que use mucho. No quiero decir que es una textura mala solo que no hay mucha consistencia entre la pigmentación de todos los tonos. He oído a varias bloggers decir que es una de sus paletas favoritas, para mí no es tan maravillosa. Sí se puede usar en especial si no te gusta que los looks queden súper smokey o estas aprendiendo a maquillarte.Teniendo esto en cuenta, te recomiendo que si estás pensando en comprarla, trates de probarla antes para ver si te gusta la pigmentación de la paleta.

If you use primer or concealer before the eyeshadows the pigmentation improves a lot but still is not a palette that I often use. I don't mean that it has a bad texture just that not every shade is consistent in the pigmentation. I've heard several bloggers saying is one of their favorite palettes but for me it's not that wonderful. You can use it, especially if you don't like super smokey looks or you are just learning to do your makeup. Keeping this in mind, I suggest that if you're thinking of buying it, test it before to see if you like the palette's pigmentation.

Una de mis metas superficiales para el verano es tener el cabello larguísimo y sano. Sobre todo sano, eso de andarme encontrando puntas abiertas me molesta. Llevo entre 20 y 24 meses probando diferentes cosas en mi cabello para ver qué tal funcionan, así que hoy les traemos los 15 mejores tips para el cuidado del cabello que he recolectado en estos casi dos años.
One of my superficial goals for the summer is to have really long and healthy hair. Specially healthy, going through life finding split ends bothers me. I have around 20 or 24 months trying different things in my hair to see how they work, so today we bring you the 15 best tips for hair care that we have gathered in almost 2 years.

1. Usa un protector de calor SIEMPRE. No importa que sólo vayas a medio secarlo con la secadora o a plancharlo como modelo de pasarela, necesitas un protector de calor. El que yo uso es Turn Up The Heat de Beyond The Zone. Puedes ver su review Aquí// ALWAYS use a heat protector. It doesn't matter if you're just gonna blow it a little with the hair-dryer or go super glam-runway model with the hair straightener, you need a heat protector. I use the Turn up the heat by Beyond the zone. You can read our review Here
2. Si puedes no usar planchas, secadoras, o pinzas no lo hagas. Sobre todo si ya lo tienes maltratado, es mejor que dejes que tu cabello recupere sus fuerzas. // If you can don't use irons , hairdryers, or curlers. Especially if you already have damaged hair, you better let your hair regain its strength.
3. Despúntalo al menos una vez al mes, si quieres que crezca sano y rápido necesitas quitar lo dañado. Cuando tengo tiempo libre incluso me pongo a cortar pelo por pelo los que están maltratados. // Cut a little of the ends of your hair at least once a month, if you want it to grow healthy and fast you need to get rid of the damaged parts. When I have some free time I sometimes cut one damaged hair at a time
4. Aplica una mascarilla de nutrición al menos una vez al mes. Hay desde las más sencillas (sólo aceite de coco de medios a puntas) hasta las más complicadas con más de 5 ingredientes. Yo suelo aplicar la de aceite de coco y la dejo actuar por tantas horas como me es posible. // Apply a nutrition mask at least once a month . There are from the most simple ones ( coconut oil from half to ends ) to more complicated ones that include more than 5 ingredients. I usually apply coconut oil and let it act for as many hours as I can.
5. Usa productos que ayuden a que el cabello esté sano. Mis favoritos son el aceite de coco de Organix y la crema o aceite nutritivo de L'oréal. // Use products that help you hair to get healthier. Right now my favorites are the coconut oil from Organix and the Extraordinary oil in cream or oil by L'oréal.
6. Agrega pastillas de complejo B a tu shampoo, eso a mi me ha funcionado de maravilla - no sólo ayuda a que crezca sino a evitar que se caiga y a volverlo ligeramente más grueso y fuerte. También es bueno para las uñas.  Puedes ver más sobre eso Aquí y Aquí // Add some B Complex pills to your shampoo, that has done wonders for me - not only does it help your hair to grow but it also help it to stop falling, and it makes it stronger and a little more thick. It's also great for your nails. You can read more about that Here and Here
7. No lo laves diario, honestamente es lo peor que puedes hacer. Si es posible sólo lávalo 3 o 4 veces a la semana. // Don't wash it every day, it's honestly the worst you can do. If it's possible just wash it 3 or 4 times per week.
8. Masajea tu cabeza. Además de que te ayudará a relajarte, estimulará el crecimiento. Cepillarlo todos los días funciona igual. // Give your head a massage with your finger tips, this will help you realx and stimulate growth. Brush it daily works too.
9. Si vas a decolorarlo te recomiendo el decolorante a base de trigo de L'oréal llamado Platine Precision, yo lo usé cuando me pinte el cabello rosa y casi no me maltrato el cabello. Puedes ver esa info Aquí // If you're going to bleach it I recommend you to use the Platine Precision by L'oréal that's wheat-based, I used it when I dyed my hair pink and it barely damaged my hair. 10. El agua de arroz ayuda a nutrirlo y darle brillo. // Rice water helps nourish and brightens. 
11. Come bien, para que tu cabello crezca y este sano tú necesitas estar sana - así que toma mucha agua y come tantos productos naturales como te sea posible. // Eat well, to make your hair healthy and make it grow you need to be healthy - so drink lots of water and eat as many natural products as you can.
12. Usa un cepillo que no maltrate tu cabello ni lo jale demasiado. Mis favoritos son los anchos de conair. Éste es realmente mu cepillo. // Use a brush that doesn't damages your hair and doesn't pull it too much. My favorites are the wide ones from conair. This is my brush for real. 
13. Antes de salir de la regadera enjuaga tu cabello con agua lo más fría que soportes, esto hará que se sellen  las cutículas para que tu cabello se vea más brilloso y sedoso. // Before getting out of the shower rinse your hair with cold water, as cold as you can. This will seal cuticles so your hair looks shinier and silky.
14. Aplica primero el acondicionador y después el shampoo, esto hará que el cabello obtenga primero mayor hidratación  lo que es equivalente a cabello más sano, brilloso y ayudará a que crezca más rápido. // Apply the conditioner before the shampoo, this way your hair will get more hydration first which is equivalent to healthier, shinier and fast growing hair.
15. Pon aceite en los nudos, puede ser de jojoba, de coco o incluso de oliva. Empápalos totalmente y espera entre 10 y 20 minutos, después intenta desenrredarlos con las manos, será mucho más sencillo y menos dañino que con el cepillo. // Apply oils on your hair knots, it can be jojoba, coconut, oil or any other. cover the knot completely and wait from 10 to 20 minutes then try to disentangle them with your hands, it will be easier and less harmful than with the brush.

Desde hace unos meses me he vuelto un poco obsesiva con aquello de las cremas para la cara, no sé si sea la crisis del cuarto de edad u otra cosa pero he estado probando varias. Recientemente probé una de una marca nueva que es natural. Entre sus ingredientes la crema tiene avena, vitamina E, colágeno, aceites de almendras y mamey. Todo destinado a nutrir, cuidar, hidratar y rejuvenecer la piel. Cuando recién la probé noté que me aparecieron algunos granitos, lo cual es natural ya que me estaba limpiando. Mi piel es extremadamente seca ya que tengo hipotiroidismo, pero si noté que permanecía hidratada por un buen rato, se sentía elástica y sana.
For some months now I've become a little obsessed with face creams, I don't know if it's because the quarter life crisis or something else but I have been testing a few ones. I recently tried one by a new and natural brand. Between its ingredients there's collagen, vitamin E, oats, almond oils, etc. Everything meant to nurture, care, moisturize, and rejuvenate the skin. When I firt tried it I noticed some acne appeared but it was normal because it was cleaning my skin. My skin is extremely dry because I have hypothyroidism but I noticed it stayed well hydrated for a long time and my skin felt elastic and healthy.

A mi me encantan los productos naturales así que ese es el plus de ésta marca mexicana. La línea tiene varios productos naturales que van desde cremas hasta shampús. Mi novio tiene un par de meses probando la Loción Anticaída Para Cabello que promueve el crecimiento del cabello y además descongestiona el cuero cabelludo, y la verdad es que le ha comenzado a crecer cabello en zonas donde no tenía. El proceso ha sido lento pero seguro así que recomendamos ambos productos y próximamente estaremos probando nuevos. 
I really love natural products, so that's a plus with this mexican brand. The line has a lot of natural products that go from creams to shampoos. My boyfriend has been testing the Antifall Hair Lotion that promoted hair growth and also help to clear the scalp, and the truth is that it has begun to grow hair in areas where he didn't had any. The process has been slow but steady, so we recommend both products and will soon be testing new.

Definitivamente el secreto para hacer crecer el cabello es que esté nutrido y bien hidratado. Yo he notado el crecimiento más que nada en mi fleco, ya que antes llegaba justo un poco más arriba de mi mandíbula y ahora está un poco más abajo de mi clavícula - como se puede ver en la foto.
The secret to make hair grow is definitely to have a well nourished and hydrated hair. I've noticed the growth on my bangs that used to be a little above my jaw and now are below my collarbone - as you can see in the picture.

Actualmente estoy probando el shampoo de Way To Grow de la marca Not Your Mother's, así que pronto les traeré un review sobre eso; por lo pronto mi recomendación son el complejo B y la línea de Óleo extraordinario de L'oréal.

Tenía tiempo queriendo probar un limpiador facial, yo solía lavarme la cara solo con jabón neutro y desmaquillarme con un algodón y crema - cuando me desmaquillaba, me declaro culpable de irme a dormir con el maquillaje puesto la mayor parte de las veces. Así que cuando me topé con el Creamy Latte Green Tea de Missha lo compré sin siquiera hacerle la investigación necesaria. Más tardes descubrí que ese producto era para piel grasa pero como no sentí que afectara mi piel continué usándolo hasta que lo olvidé en un viaje a Queretaro, México - espero que lo haya encontrado alguien que lo necesitaba más que yo. Unos días después compré la versión de Chocolate que es la que corresponde a mi piel, piel seca. La versión de fresa es para piel normal.

For some time I had been wanting to try a cleansing foam, I used to wash my face with neutral soap and take off my makeup with cotton and any face cream - when I removed my makeup, I am guilty of sleeping with my face on most of the times. So when I ran into the Creamy Latte Green Tea Cleansing Foam by Missha I bought it without even making the proper research. Later that day I found out that this product was for oily skin but I was feeling brave so I started using it until I forgot it on a trip to Queretaro, México - I hope the person who found it was in bigger need of it than me. A few days later I bought the Chocolate version which is the right one for my skin, dry skin. There's also a strawberry versión mean to give normal skin some glow.

Quisiera públicamente declararle mi amor a este limpiador, tiene un olor exquisito a chocolate, un color chocolatoso brillante que me encanto y deja mi piel sintiéndose tight, limpia e hidratada. Me pareció barato, costó aproximadamente $90 pesos mexicanos y es un envase bastante grande - lo que también me gusto fue el envase blanco totalmente y que es facil de usar, el tamaño garantiza que durara mucho ya que con un centímetro de producto en mi dedo me sobra para limpiar mi cara. Al principio solo usaba mis dedos pero para obtener una mejor limpieza comencé a usar un cepillo limpiador. Otra cosa que quiero decir es que este limpiador me ha quitado el tono oscuro de los puntos negros y después se deshizo de ellos por completo. 
I'd like to publicly declare my love to this cleansing foam, it has an exquisite chocolate smell, the color is a glowy chocolate-like brown and it leaves my skin feeling clean, tight and moist. I thought it was cheap, I paid around $90 mexican pesos and it a big packaging - which I also liked a lot, it's a clean white squeeze tube, the sice guarantees that it will last longer, with just 1cm of product I'm good to clean my whole face. At first I used only my fignerst to apply it but but a better cleanse I started using a cleansing brush. Another thing I'd like to say is that this cleansing foam removed the blak-ish tone of the black spots on my nose and then got rid of them completely. 

Por unos días cambié a un limpiador Pure Active 3 en 1 de Garnier para tener más claros los resultados y la verdad es que odie el de Garnier, dejaba mi piel extremadamente seca, no servía para hacer espuma y lo sentía muy pesado. Lo use como limpiador y exfoliante, no he querido arriesgarme con la mascarilla pero tal vez un día de estos.
For a couple days I started using the Pure Active 3 in 1 by Garnier to see the results I was getting with Misshas cleanser and to be honest I hated the Garnier cleanser, it left my skin feeling super dry, it made no foam at all and I felt like it was too heavy. I tried it as a cleanser and an exfoliator, I didn't wanted to risk it with the mask option, maybe one of these days.
