Tenía tiempo queriendo probar un limpiador facial, yo solía lavarme la cara solo con jabón neutro y desmaquillarme con un algodón y crema - cuando me desmaquillaba, me declaro culpable de irme a dormir con el maquillaje puesto la mayor parte de las veces. Así que cuando me topé con el Creamy Latte Green Tea de Missha lo compré sin siquiera hacerle la investigación necesaria. Más tardes descubrí que ese producto era para piel grasa pero como no sentí que afectara mi piel continué usándolo hasta que lo olvidé en un viaje a Queretaro, México - espero que lo haya encontrado alguien que lo necesitaba más que yo. Unos días después compré la versión de Chocolate que es la que corresponde a mi piel, piel seca. La versión de fresa es para piel normal.

For some time I had been wanting to try a cleansing foam, I used to wash my face with neutral soap and take off my makeup with cotton and any face cream - when I removed my makeup, I am guilty of sleeping with my face on most of the times. So when I ran into the Creamy Latte Green Tea Cleansing Foam by Missha I bought it without even making the proper research. Later that day I found out that this product was for oily skin but I was feeling brave so I started using it until I forgot it on a trip to Queretaro, México - I hope the person who found it was in bigger need of it than me. A few days later I bought the Chocolate version which is the right one for my skin, dry skin. There's also a strawberry versión mean to give normal skin some glow.

Quisiera públicamente declararle mi amor a este limpiador, tiene un olor exquisito a chocolate, un color chocolatoso brillante que me encanto y deja mi piel sintiéndose tight, limpia e hidratada. Me pareció barato, costó aproximadamente $90 pesos mexicanos y es un envase bastante grande - lo que también me gusto fue el envase blanco totalmente y que es facil de usar, el tamaño garantiza que durara mucho ya que con un centímetro de producto en mi dedo me sobra para limpiar mi cara. Al principio solo usaba mis dedos pero para obtener una mejor limpieza comencé a usar un cepillo limpiador. Otra cosa que quiero decir es que este limpiador me ha quitado el tono oscuro de los puntos negros y después se deshizo de ellos por completo. 
I'd like to publicly declare my love to this cleansing foam, it has an exquisite chocolate smell, the color is a glowy chocolate-like brown and it leaves my skin feeling clean, tight and moist. I thought it was cheap, I paid around $90 mexican pesos and it a big packaging - which I also liked a lot, it's a clean white squeeze tube, the sice guarantees that it will last longer, with just 1cm of product I'm good to clean my whole face. At first I used only my fignerst to apply it but but a better cleanse I started using a cleansing brush. Another thing I'd like to say is that this cleansing foam removed the blak-ish tone of the black spots on my nose and then got rid of them completely. 

Por unos días cambié a un limpiador Pure Active 3 en 1 de Garnier para tener más claros los resultados y la verdad es que odie el de Garnier, dejaba mi piel extremadamente seca, no servía para hacer espuma y lo sentía muy pesado. Lo use como limpiador y exfoliante, no he querido arriesgarme con la mascarilla pero tal vez un día de estos.
For a couple days I started using the Pure Active 3 in 1 by Garnier to see the results I was getting with Misshas cleanser and to be honest I hated the Garnier cleanser, it left my skin feeling super dry, it made no foam at all and I felt like it was too heavy. I tried it as a cleanser and an exfoliator, I didn't wanted to risk it with the mask option, maybe one of these days.

¿Cómo limpiar brochas de maquillaje?

Es muy importante lavar tus brochas de maquillaje regularmente para mantenerlas en óptimas condiciones  y para evitar crear infecciones en la piel debido a : maquillaje viejo, tierra, bacterias, aceites y células de piel muerta. Te recomendamos lavarlas una vez a la semana y si sufres problemas de acné tratar de hacerlo aún más seguido para evitar inflamaciones en la piel. Aquí te diremos una manera sencilla de hacerlo en casa y con productos que tienes a la mano. Si prefieres un limpiador profesional te recomendamos comprar un líquido especial que hace el trabajo mucho más rápido, como el MAC Limpiador de brochas que las acondiciona, limpia y quita bacterias.

 

Estos son los pasos para limpiar tus brochas :

1.- Primero es recomendable separar las brochas que usas diario para lavarlas primero y mientras se secan, lavas las demás para poder maquillarte al siguiente día.

2.- Escoge un shampoo transparente y de preferencia suave, yo usé el Enliven de kiwi-higo, debo admitir que no es el ideal pero no encontré el shampoo de bebe que regularmente uso para lavar mis brochas :P .

3.- Enjuágalos suavemente bajo el agua tibia y recuerda nunca hacerlo en contra del pelo de la brocha porque así es más fácil que se le caigan las cerdas y que entre demasiada agua al aro de metal que las sostiene. 

4.- Luego de enjuagarlos con agua, déjalos remojar en el agua tibia y agrega el shampoo para que tomen un baño por cinco minutos. Luego de esto dales vueltas suavemente para que se limpien de los pigmentos del maquillaje y si siguen saliendo sucios aplícales un poco de shampoo con los dedos y enjuágalos hasta que salga el agua transparente.

5.- Después de que se bañaron bien, sécalos ligeramente con una toalla o papel siempre en el sentido de las cerdas para que no pierdan su forma. Después de esto es tiempo de secarlos, es importante que no los pongas a secar boca arriba porque el agua hace que se afloje el pegamento que sostiene los pelitos y se dañen con el tiempo. Una forma sencilla es poniendo algún objeto abajo de la toalla y los recuestas para que las cerdas esten abajo como en la fotografía. 

6.- Después de que se secaron bien, es importante darle forma para que esten en óptimas condiciones. Cada brocha tiene un tiempo diferente de secado ya que algunas son más densas que otras pero déjalas a que sequen muy bien antes de usarlas.

Si lavas y cuidas tus brochas adecuadamente, te pueden durar por años.

  

How to wash your makeup brushes?

It's very important to wash your makeup brushes on a regular basis to keep them in optimal conditions and to avoid creating infections in the skin due to : old makeup, dirt, bacteria, oils and dead skin cells. We recommend you to wash them at least once a week and if you have acne problems try to make it more often to avoid more skin inflammations. If you prefer a more professional cleanser we recomment you to get a special liquit that does the job faster, like the MAC Brush Cleanser that cleans, accondicionates and removes bacteria.  

These are the steps to clean your brushes:

1.- First it's recommendable to separate the brushes you use and a daily basis to wash them first and while these dry, wash the rest to be able to get your makeup done the next morning.

2.- Pick a mild transparent shampoo, I used the Enliven kiwi-fig, I have to admit it's not the ideal one but I didn't find the baby one I regularly wash my brushes with :P .

3.- Rinse them gently over tepid water and remember never to do this against the bristles because it's easier for the hairs to fall and enters too much water in the metallic ring.

4.- After rinsing them, soak them in the tepid water and add shampoo so they can take a bath for five minutes. After this, gently twirl them in the water so they can release dirt and pigments and if the dirt keeps coming off apply a bit of shampoo with your fingers and rinse them until the water runs clear. 

5.- After they took a good bath, lightly pat them with a towel or paper always in the sense the bristles are so they don't loose shape. After this it's time to dry them, it's important to never put them upward because the water makes the glue that holds the hairs weak and in time they fall apart. A simple way to do this is putting an objet under a tower and place them downward like the photograph shows.

6.- After they dried properly it's important to reshape them so they are in optimal conditions. Every brush has a different drying time because of the different densities but dry them completely before you apply your makeup. 

If you wash and take care the properly they can last for years.
