Como he hablado en los posts anteriores, últimamente he estado obsesionada con los productos coreanos de belleza. Pero una cosa que han preguntado mucho es donde se pueden encontrar en México. Estos son algunos de los lugares y tiendas en línea que he ido o probado y son muy recomendables.

Like I've said in previous posts, lately I've been obsessed with korean beauty products. But many of y
ou have asked where to find them in Mexico. These are some of the places and online stores I've tried and are recommendable.

1. Missha

Esta fue la primera tienda de cosméticos coreanos que encontré ya que es bastante grande y establecida. Como no conozco mucho, quería ir a lo seguro y ver los productos en la tienda (aparte de ver los reviews). Hay varias sucursales o los puedes pedir en línea, la verdad el servicio me pareció muy bueno y las chicas que estaban atendiendo me ayudaron mucho en mis dudas y saber más acerca de los productos. Si apenas quieres empezar a ver algunos productos, te recomiendo mucho esta tienda.

This was the first korean beauty store I found because it's pretty big, visible and established. Because I don't know very much about the products I wanted to go safe and see the actual products in the store (aside from the online reviews). There are many stores or you can buy them online, the attention was really good and the girls answered all my questions and help me pick the products. If you are just starting to dip into the korean beauty products, this is the best store to start.

2.- KoCo

Es diminutivo de “Korean Cosmetics” y está en la colonia Cuauhtémoc. Esta tienda en especial tiene productos de skincare de diferentes marcas y todos los empaque son increíble. Tienen desde mascarillas, BB creams, tintas de labios, polvos, cremas y muchas cosas que están divinas. Puedes ir a su tienda física o también comprar online.

It's the short name for "Korean Cosmetics" and it's located in the Cuauhtémoc area. This store especially has skincare products from diverse brands and all the packaging is amazing. They have masks, sheet masks, BB creams, lip tints, powders, creams and tons of cute stuff. You can go into their physical store o their online one.

3.-Kinumi.Co

Ésta es una tienda física y online que se encuentra en el centro del DF. Yo fui a la tienda física pero si quieres algún producto que no lo tengan en stock o en su catálogo, se los puedes pedir para que lo traigan de Corea. Aquí puedes encontrar un poco de todo, cosméticos, ropa, accesorios, comida…todo muy kawaii. La verdad no conozco tanto de esa cultura, pero cualquier cosa que tenga moños la verdad es que me gana. Puedes encontrar cosas de Etude House, The Face Shop, Skin Food, Tony Moly y otras marcas famosas.

This is also a physical and online store that's located in Downtown Mexico City. I went to the physical store, but if you want a product that isn't in stock or isn't on their catalog, you can ask them to ship it from Korea. Here you can find a bit of everything, cosmetics, clothing, accesories, food...all of them very kawaii. Truth is I'm not very familiarized with the culture, but anything that has bows, has my attention. You can find Etude House, The Face Shop, Skin Food, Tony Moly products. 

4.- Tony Moly

Los productos de esta última tienda son algunos de mis favoritos, son lindísimos y funcionan increíble. La verdad debo ser sincera y decir que no tenían mucha variedad en la tienda física y no he pedido nada online. Pero si estás muy interesada en probar los productos, igual puedes darte una vuelta y ver si tienen en stock. 

The products in this store are some of my favorites, are super cute and work amazingly. Sincerly the time I went into the store they didn't have a lot of stock and I haven't ordered anything online. But if you are very interested in trying their products, you can go and see if they have more stock.

Tenía tiempo queriendo probar un limpiador facial, yo solía lavarme la cara solo con jabón neutro y desmaquillarme con un algodón y crema - cuando me desmaquillaba, me declaro culpable de irme a dormir con el maquillaje puesto la mayor parte de las veces. Así que cuando me topé con el Creamy Latte Green Tea de Missha lo compré sin siquiera hacerle la investigación necesaria. Más tardes descubrí que ese producto era para piel grasa pero como no sentí que afectara mi piel continué usándolo hasta que lo olvidé en un viaje a Queretaro, México - espero que lo haya encontrado alguien que lo necesitaba más que yo. Unos días después compré la versión de Chocolate que es la que corresponde a mi piel, piel seca. La versión de fresa es para piel normal.

For some time I had been wanting to try a cleansing foam, I used to wash my face with neutral soap and take off my makeup with cotton and any face cream - when I removed my makeup, I am guilty of sleeping with my face on most of the times. So when I ran into the Creamy Latte Green Tea Cleansing Foam by Missha I bought it without even making the proper research. Later that day I found out that this product was for oily skin but I was feeling brave so I started using it until I forgot it on a trip to Queretaro, México - I hope the person who found it was in bigger need of it than me. A few days later I bought the Chocolate version which is the right one for my skin, dry skin. There's also a strawberry versión mean to give normal skin some glow.

Quisiera públicamente declararle mi amor a este limpiador, tiene un olor exquisito a chocolate, un color chocolatoso brillante que me encanto y deja mi piel sintiéndose tight, limpia e hidratada. Me pareció barato, costó aproximadamente $90 pesos mexicanos y es un envase bastante grande - lo que también me gusto fue el envase blanco totalmente y que es facil de usar, el tamaño garantiza que durara mucho ya que con un centímetro de producto en mi dedo me sobra para limpiar mi cara. Al principio solo usaba mis dedos pero para obtener una mejor limpieza comencé a usar un cepillo limpiador. Otra cosa que quiero decir es que este limpiador me ha quitado el tono oscuro de los puntos negros y después se deshizo de ellos por completo. 
I'd like to publicly declare my love to this cleansing foam, it has an exquisite chocolate smell, the color is a glowy chocolate-like brown and it leaves my skin feeling clean, tight and moist. I thought it was cheap, I paid around $90 mexican pesos and it a big packaging - which I also liked a lot, it's a clean white squeeze tube, the sice guarantees that it will last longer, with just 1cm of product I'm good to clean my whole face. At first I used only my fignerst to apply it but but a better cleanse I started using a cleansing brush. Another thing I'd like to say is that this cleansing foam removed the blak-ish tone of the black spots on my nose and then got rid of them completely. 

Por unos días cambié a un limpiador Pure Active 3 en 1 de Garnier para tener más claros los resultados y la verdad es que odie el de Garnier, dejaba mi piel extremadamente seca, no servía para hacer espuma y lo sentía muy pesado. Lo use como limpiador y exfoliante, no he querido arriesgarme con la mascarilla pero tal vez un día de estos.
For a couple days I started using the Pure Active 3 in 1 by Garnier to see the results I was getting with Misshas cleanser and to be honest I hated the Garnier cleanser, it left my skin feeling super dry, it made no foam at all and I felt like it was too heavy. I tried it as a cleanser and an exfoliator, I didn't wanted to risk it with the mask option, maybe one of these days.

Con toda esta locura últimamente de las BB creams, los productos de belleza coreanos han estado bajo mi radar últimamente. Hace un año una prima que ha viajado varias veces a Japón y Corea me enseñó varios de sus productos y la verdad quedé impresionada de todos. Los empaque son lindísimos y super cute, me dijo que los precios son muy accesibles y los productos son de lo mejor. Como en México pensé que no había manera de conseguirlos, no me había fijado en ellos hasta que me entró la espina después de ver a Lisa Eldridge, y he encontrado varias tiendas en México, DF. Sé que no es lo más sencillo de encontrar pero para #beautyjunkies como yo que irían hasta Mordor por un lipstick, tenía que probarlos.

Lately with all this craziness about BB creams, the korean beauty products have been under my radar lately. About a year ago a cousin who has traveled many times to Japan and Korea showed me many of these products and was impressed by all of them. The packaging is super cute and amazing, and she told me that the prices were pretty accesible...I was really impressed. Because I thought I couldn't get them in Mexico, I didn't pay attention until I was really curious after Lisa Eldridge posted a video and I found many stores in Mexico City. I know it's not the easiest ones to find but for #beautyjunkies like me that could go to Mordor for a lipstick, I had to try them.

El primer lugar al que fui fue a Missha, tienen varias sucursales y principalmente iba por sus famosas BB creams. Estas son de origen coreano y después de ver su gran éxito en Asia, muchas compañías occidentales sacaron sus versiones pero había oído que no se comparaban así que decidí probarlas.

The first place I went was Missha, they have many stores and I was mainly going for their famous BB creams. These are originally from Korean and after seeing their great success in Asia, many wsetern companies decided to realease their own versions but I've heard that they couldn´t compare so I decided to try one.  

Escogí la M Perfect Cover BBcream porque es su best seller, viene en un tamaño pequeño y porque tenían mi tono de piel. Una de las cosas que recomiendo que veas si planeas comprar un producto de base es probar que tonos tienen porque en general solo tienen para pieles blancas. Ésta BB cream tiene cobertura media, SPF 42+++, hidratación y dice que ayuda para arrugas, líneas, granitos y a mejorar el tono de piel. La verdad no la he usado tanto tiempo para ver la diferencia en las últimas cosas pero me ha gustado muchísimo y la seguiré usando diario.

I chose the M Perfect Cover BB cream because is their best seller, comes in a small size and they had my exact skintone match. One of the things I recommend is if you're planning to buy a face product to test the colors because they generally are designed for light skintones. This BB cream has a medium coverage, SPF 42 +++, hydration and it says it helps with the wrinkles, fine lines, pimples and even out your skintone. Truth is I haven't use it long enough to see these diferences but I've liked it a lot and continue to use it daily. 

La segunda cosa que son muy famosas las marcas coreanas son las mascarillas de algodón…sí, esas que haces que parezcas Hannibal Lecter. Tienen de mil y una diferentes y a súper buen precio. Rondan entre los 25 y 50 pesos, yo escogí la de Pure Source SheetMask de Té Verde ya que mi piel tiene a tener brotes y esto leí que ayuda a controlarlos y costó 25 pesos.

The second thing korean brands are famous for are sheet masks...yes, the ones that make you look like Hannibal Lecter. They have a thousand different ones and at a great price. I chose the Tea Tree Pure source Sheet Mask because my skin breaks out easily and I read this helps to control it.

El segundo lugar que visité fue KoCo o "Korean Cosmetics" y aquí tienen cosas de varias marcas en especial Tony Moly, Holika Holika y The Face Shop.

The second place I visited was KoCo or "Korean Cosmetics" and here they have many brands especially Tony Moly, Holika Holika and The Face Shop.

Aquí escogí el parche de ojos Panda's Dream Eye Patch de Tony Moly. Primero que nada, el empaque es demasiado lindo y en segundo he leído críticas buenísimas sobre estos parches para los ojos, la aplicas después de la limpieza y ayuda para las ojeras y líneas...es lo que necesitan mis ojos últimamente.

Here I chose the eye patch Panda's Dream Eye Patch from Tony Moly. First of all, the packaging is super cute and secondly I've read great reviews about this eye patches, you apply them after you cleanse your skin and it helps with undereye darkness and fine lines...just what my eyes need right now.

La segunda cosa que escogí fue una máscarilla como la anterior de Missha pero esta es de la marca Holika Holika y se llama Juicy Mask Sheet de Mango. Me dijeron que era hidratante y energizante para la piel, francamente me recordó a un Boing de Mango pero la probaré para ver que tan cierto es lo que dicen.

The second thing I chose was the sheet mask from Holika Holika and it's called Mango Juicy Mask Sheet. They told me it was energizing and hydrating for the skin, the packaging reming me of mango juice but I'll try and see how much the claims are true. 

La tercera cosa que escogí fue una crema de manos Red Apple Hand Cream de Tony Moly. Dejando el lindo empaque de lado, es la mejor crema de manos que he probado. Huele increíble, es super super hidratante y la textura está genial, no muy grasosa pero perfecta usarla en el día. Debo admitir que no es muy práctico pero me encantó, siempre tengo resecas las manos y esta crema ha sido de las pocas que no me tengo que estar aplicando cada 5 minutos. La verdad lo escogí por como se veía y porque tenía descuento y no me he arrepentido nada. 

The third thing I chose was the hand cream Red Apple Hand Cream  from Tony Moly. Leaving the cute packaging aside, it's the best hand cream I've tried. It smells amazing, it's super super hydrating and the texture is great, not greasy and perfect for everyday. I'll have to admit it's not really practical but I loved it, I suffer from dry and this cream has been one of the few that I don't to reapply every 5 minutes. Truth is I chose it because how it looked and it had discount and haven't regret it a little.

Desde que las BB creams se pusieron de moda en el mundo de la belleza, siempre salía a relucir que las BB creams occidentales no se comparaban con las coreanas así que cuando llegué a la tienda de Missha, corrí en dirección del stand de las BB creams.

Ever since the BB creams became popular in the beauty world, it always came up that the western ones didn't compare to the korean ones so when I went to the Missha store, I ran in the direction of the BB cream stand.

Es el tono 27 y abajo difuminado sobre la piel // It's shade 27 and below blended into the skin

Ésta BBcream es una de sus best sellers y puedo ver totalmente porque, es una crema hidratante con una cobertura media, protección solar del 42+++(contra rayos UVA y UVV), ayuda contra arrugas, líneas de expresión, empareja el tono…en fin, un sueño hecho realidad. Lo que me gustó mucho de esta BB cream es que tiene una cobertura decente y se pierde en mi piel, pareciera como si no tuviera nada puesto. Se siente muy cómoda, es súper sencilla de usar con los dedos y facilita muchísimo el arreglarme en la mañana. Con este producto puedo quitar los pasos de protector solar, primer, base y hasta corrector en días que mi piel este tranquila. Otra cosa que me gustó es que tenían una variedad razonable de tonos de piel, lo cual otras líneas no tienen. Yo escogí el tono 27 y me queda muy bien con mi tono natural. El bote que compré fue de 20 ml. y decidí este tamaño porque se puede llevar muy bien a todas partes y porque si me gustaba siempre puedo regresar por el tamaño grande. La única pequeña cosa que no me encantó es el olor, tiene como un olor a bebé o a talco que no me gustó pero a través del día se va desvaneciendo.

This BB cream is one of their best sellers and I can totally see why, it's hydrating with medium coverage, SPF 42+++ (against UVA and UVV rays), helps to fight wrinkles, fine lines, evens out your skintone...basically a dream come true. The thing I liked the most about this BB cream is that has a decent coverage and I don't notice it, it looks like I have nothing on. It feels really comfortable, it's simple to use with your fingers and speeds up getting ready in the morning. With this product I can skip the sunscreen, primer, foundation and on good skin days even concealer. The other thing I liked is that they had a reasonable skin tone selection, the other BB cream lines hadn't. I chose the shade 27 and it looks great with my skintone. The presentation I bought was the 20 ml. and chose this size because I can carry it anywhere and if I liked it I can always go back for the big size one. The only tiny little thing I didn't love was the smell, like baby powder but it fades through the day. 

Les recomiendo muchísimo esta BB cream, ha sido todo una revelación para mí. Si quieres un producto de cobertura media, semi mate, con protección solar alta y a un precio accesible, te recomiendo que pruebes ésta BB cream.

I highly recommend you this BB cream, it has been quite a revelation for me. If you want a medium coverage, semi matte, with high SPF and an accesible price, I recommend you to try this BB cream.
