El día de ayer la casa de moda Balenciaga y su Director Creativo desde 1997, Nicolas Ghesquière anunciaron su decisión de dejar de trabajar juntos a partir de 30 de Noviembre de 2012. Y la noticia llega como un shock ya que no hace mucho, Balenciaga saco a la venta el perfume Florabotanica cuya imagen es Kristen Stewart y quien ha dicho más de una vez que su decisión de aceptar el perfume de la marca de alto renombre se basó en el poder trabajar con Nicholas a quien admira de cien formas diferentes. Tampoco olvidemos que el show de la temporada primavera-verano 2013 fue hace un mes y todo parecía bien. No queda más que tomar el luto y esperar a ver quién remplaza a Nicolas y qué hará ahora.

Al respecto Jennifer dijo: "Es un sueño representar a una marca tan icónica y que además es sinónimo de alta costura". Sobre la actriz, quien asistió al debut de Raf Simons en la casa de moda en el desfile de Julio, Raf dijo: "Estaba asombrado por su increíble persencia en la pantalla, su juventud y su belleza clásica pero también por la fuerza de su carácter y la complejidad que es capaz de encarnar siendo tan joven". La nueva campaña de Dior con Jennifer está programada para salir en Marzo del 2013. Se rumora que la decisión de Dior de cambiar a Mila por Jennifer se debe a que desde que la primera anda con Ashton Kutcher ha descuidado su imagen, también se dice que es porque ha subido de peso. Yo personalmente creo que se debe al éxito que le espera a Jennifer con la saga de Los Juegos del Hambre lista para reemplazar la saga de Crepúsculo, porque si alguien ha visto sus fotos del día a día sabe perfectamente que la chica no es un icono de la moda andando por las calles. Es una decisión relativamente inteligente poner a Jennifer como cara de la línea de bolsos, sólo queda esperar a que los fanáticos de Los Juegos del Hambre sean también fanáticos de la moda.

Ya sea en la portada de Vogue o en una de sus (casi películas) videos musicales, me encanta Lana Del Rey. Desde su maquillaje con pestañas perfectas, pasando por el aire de dramatismo que la rodea y hasta su honestidad, porque ella misma ha dicho: "subir a un escenario no es mi elemento". Pero si alguien se fija en sus videos acústicos, puede darse cuenta de que tiene una buena voz. Dejando ese talento a un lado, hablemos un poco de su estílo y sus planes a futuro.
Whether on the cover of Vogue or in one of her (almost movies) music videos, I love Lana Del Rey. From her makeup with perfect eyelashes, through the dramatic air that surrounds her, to her honesty, because she herself has said it: "when I get on stage that's not my element." Actualmente está en la portada de Vogue Australia donde aparece con un look más natural al que nos tiene acostumbrados y como es de esperarse, me encanta. Aparece con una mirada inocente, el cabello más oscuro y recogido recordandome a una Frida Kahlo moderna y mostrando  los tatuajes de sus manos: "Paradise" y "Trust no one".

She appears with an innocent look, darker hair and braided up reming me of a modern Frida Kahlo and showing the tattoos on her hands: "Paradise" and "Trust no one."

Lana Del Rey es un icóno de la moda que Gracias a Dieu! (junto con Adele) puso de moda una de mis épocas favoritas, los 60s-70s. Con sus pestañas postizas, delineado y cabello perfecto hace que todos los días quiera peinarme y pintarme como ella, pero entonces recuerdo que yo no soy Lana.
Lana Del Rey is a fashion icon Thank Dieu! (along with Adele) made one of my favorite periods fashionable again, the 60s-70s. With her false eyelashes, perfect eyeliner and perfect hair she makes me want to imitate her hair and makeup everyday, but then I remember that I am not Lana.

 Hace poco más de un mes también aparecio en Vogue Italia luciendo hermosa como siempre y con un estilo más decadente y lleno de glamour.

 También apareció en la portada de GQ donde la nombran mujer del año y le hacen una de las entrevistas que más me han gustado.
She also appeared on the cover of GQ where she was named woman of the year, the article was great too, it was one of my favorite interviews.

Como ya todos deben de saber, Lana hizo una colaboración con H&M para la campaña de otoño y saldrá a la venta el 20 de Septiembre, pero para alimentar un poco más nuestras ansias ha salido un video "Detrás de cámaras" y el anuncio donde aparece cantando un fragmento de la canción Blue velvet.

As everyone already knows, Lana did a collaboration with H&M for the fall campaign and it will be released on September 20, but to feed a little more our anticipation two videos have already come out, one is a "Behind the scenes" of the recording of the Ad, and the ad itself where she appears singing a snippet of the song Blue Velvet.

  Se dice que recientemente estuvo en Las Vegas grabando el video del sencillo "Ride" de su nuevo disco Born To Die: Paradise Edition que supuestamente saldrá a la venta en Noviembre.

Anunció en Vogue Australia que ya no tiene nada que decir en la música y que lo que ahora desea es escribir para películas, lo cual es bastante predescible si es que has visto sus videos musicales, como National Anthem (mi favorito). Sea lo que sea, estoy segura de que a Lana Del Rey le espera un futuro brillante, aunque admito que la extrañaría en la música.
She announced in Vogue Australia that she has nothing left to say on the music business and that what she now wants to do it write a film, which is pretty predictable if you've seen her music videos, like National Anthem (my favorite). Whatever it is, I'm sure there's a bright future awaiting for Lana Del Rey, though I admit that I would miss her in music.

There are two next ones that caught our eye. 

¡Marilyn Monroe será la próxima musa de M.A.C. ! La compañía de cosméticos usará el provocativo cat-eye, uñas perfectas y labios rojos de la actriz como inspiración para su próxima línea, que incluirá una variedad de sombras de ojos, barnices de uñas, delineadores de ojos y lápices de labios. La línea costará entre $15 a $27 y llegará a las tiendas en Octubre. Creo que la línea de maquillaje es una gran manera de rendirle homenaje a este íconos, ya que tuvo un gran impacto en el mundo de la belleza debido a su característico look.

Marilyn Monroe is MAC makeup’s new muse! The cosmetics company is using the actress' famous sultry cat eye, flawless nails, and crimson pout as inspiration for an upcoming lineup, which will include a range of eye shadows, nail lacquers, eyeliners, and lipsticks. The line will be priced from $15 to $27, and land in stores this October. I think the makeup line is a great way to pay homage to the icon because she had a large impact on the world of beauty because of her characteristic look.

La segunda es de la legendaria ex editora de la versión francesa de la revista Vogue Carine Roitfeld. Saldrá en otoño y estará compuesta por 20 productos inspirados en el característico look de Roitfeld: ojos ahumados, cejas marcadas y labios al natural. La editora participó en todo el proceso, desde definir la paleta de color hasta el diseño de los empaques.

The second one is the legendary ex-editor of the french version of Vogue magazine Carine Roitfeld. It will come out in the fall and will consist of 20 products inspired by the characteristic look of Roitfeld: smokey eyes, old brows and nude lips. The editor participated in all the process, from defining the color palette to the packaging design.

Sólo necesitas periódico,  un esmalte de color claro, tijeras, alcohol y brillo para las uñas // You only need a page of the newspaper, light color nail polish, scissors, alcohol and top coat polish.

1. Pinta tus uñas de un tono crema, o cualquier tono claro que te agrade y deja que se sequen. // Put on the light nail polish and let dry
2. Sirve alcohol en un vasito y hunde tu uña en el por cinco segundos. // Dip fingernail in alcohol for five seconds
3. Selecciona una de las tiras de periódico y cubre tu uña mojada, presiona por quince segundos. // Press a strip of newspaper big enough to cover the whole nail on to your alcohol soaked nail for fifteen seconds

4. Retira la tira lentamente. Si quedan pedazos de papel puedes quitarlos con un poco de agua. // Pull off slowly. You can remove pieces of the paper with a little water
5. Pinta con un tono transparente para evitar que las letras desaparezcan. // Paint top coat to avoid de letters from erasing
