Nuevamente la industria del maquillaje se estremecerá porque la famosa marca de Charlotte Tillbury y el legendario fotógrafo británico Norman Parkinson se unen para realizar su primera colaboración en su colección de verano. Esta incluirá varios artículos de edición limitada con un empaque con inspiración vintage donde aparecen famosas modelos como Jerry Hall y Carmen Dell’Oreffice.

La famosa maquillista tuvo la inspiración de la colección cuando la familia Parkinson la invitó a ver el archivo de su trabajo fotográfico.  “El trabajo de Norman Parkinson siempre me ha fascinado e inspirado. Es un fotógrafo legendario que en mundo de la moda siempre usamos de referencia y de alguna manera lo usamos para inspiración.” -comentó Tillbury – “Con esta colección, quise robar el ADN de las mujeres que a través de la historia, cautivaron al mundo con su fascinante belleza.”

Las imágenes de Norman Parkinson combinaban su impecable visión estética, su perfecta técnica fotográfica y una visión casi surrealista y divertida de la realidad. Su trabajo incluye desde sus primeras obras retratando a mineros de Gales en los años treintas, sus retratos de la familia real inglesa y famosas estrellas de rock como los Rolling Stones y sus icónicas fotografías de moda.

A lo largo de su vida colaboró con importantes revistas como Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Queen, etc. Y trabajó lado a lado con los editores y fotógrafos más reconocidos de la escena de la moda como Diana Vreeland, Grace Coddington y Cecil Beaton.

La imagen clave de la colección es la fotografía de la modelo y ex esposa del cantante Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall. Esta imagen salió en la portada de Mayo de 1975 de la revista Vogue Estados Unidos y se volvió icónica. La colección no solo incluye en el empaque a las famosas modelos sino que los productos se inspiraron en su uso de la luz. “Siempre regreso a esta portada, estoy obsesionada con la belleza de Jerry Hall y como Parkinson logró capturarla en el retrato” –explicó la maquillista – “La habilidad de Parkinson de capturar la luz influenció enormemente en como veo el maquillaje, en específico el look difuminado. Como artista, muchas de mis creaciones comienzan experimentando con la luz y la sombra para definir y reestructurar el rostro. Esta nueva paleta de contorno se inspira en la manera que la luz y la sombra interactúan con la complexión”.

La colección de edición limitada incluirá los siguientes productos:

• Filmstar Bronze and Glow: una paleta con el dúo de iluminador y bronceador en crema
• Dreamy Glow Highlighter: un iluminador en polvo color champaña
• Matte Revolution lipstick: en los tonos Miss Kensigton un coral vívido y 1975 Red, un tono rojo clásico
• Colour of Youth Lip & Cheek Glow: un producto multiusos para los labios mejillas en un tono rosado, la sombra en crema
• Eyes to Mesmerize: una sombra en crema en una textura brillante
• La bolsa de maquillaje On Call con la imagen principal

Once more the beauty industry will stir up because the famous brand Charlotte Tillbury and the legendary photographer Norman Parkinson will team up to create its first collaboration for their summer collection. This will include many limited edition items with a vintage inspired packaging in which famous models like Jerry Hall and Carmen Dell’Oreffice appear.

The famous makeup artist had the inspiration for this collection when the Parkinson family invited her to see the photography archive. "I’ve always been fascinated and inspired by Norman Parkinson’s work. He is a legendary photographer that, in the fashion world, we use as a reference and in inspiration" Tilbury said. “With this collection, I wanted to steal the beauty DNA of the women who throughout history captivated the world with their fascinating beauty.”

Norman Parkinson’s works combined its impeccable esthetic vision, his perfect photographic technique and an almost surrealist and funny vision of reality. His work includes from his early portraits to welsh miners in the thirties, his portraits fromm the royal English family and famous rock stars like the Rolling Stones and his iconic fashion photographs.

Throughout his life he collaborated with important magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Queen, etc. An word closely with the fashion scene’s most famous editors and photographers such as Diana Vreeland, Grace Coddington and Cecil Beaton.  

The key image to the Collection is the photograph of the model, and former wife of the singer Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall. This image was released in the May 1975 cover of Vogue USA and became iconic. The collection does not only include in the packaging the famous models, but the actual products were inspired by how he used the light. “I always return to this cover, I'm obsessed with Jerry Hall's beauty and how Parkinson portrayed it here," - explained the makeup artist - "Parkinson's skills to capture light hugely influences how I see make-up, specifically that soft-focus look. As an artist, a lot of my creations start with experimenting on light and shadow to define and re-shape the face. This new contouring palette is inspired by the lights and shades that interact with the complexion." 

The limited edition collection will include the following products:

• Filmstar Bronze and Glow: a cream bronzer and highlighting palette
• Dreamy Glow Highlighter: a champagne powder highlighter
• Matte Revolution lipstick: in the shades Miss Kensigton a vivid coral and 1975 Red a classic red shade
• Colour of Youth Lip & Cheek Glow: a multipurpose products for cheeks and lips in a pinky shade
• Eyes to Mesmerize: a cream eyeshadow in a soft shimmer texture
• On Call: a makeup bag with the main image

Amo mi cabello, no cuido nada en mi tanto como a mi cabello - no sé  qué  tan bien hable eso de mí... A lo que voy es a que lo hago pasar por muchas cosas: secados, planchados, decoloraciones, tintes,  etc., por eso siempre estoy buscando nuevas formas de evitar el maltrato y ayudar a hidratarlo. Hace unos meses, cuando estaba en el proceso de pintarlo de rosa, con la compra de un tinte me regalaron una pequeña botella de muestra con el óleo extraordinario de elvive, después de decolorar mi cabello y aplicar los tintes rubios comencé a usarlo.

I love my hair, I don't take care of anything as much as I do it with my hair - I don't know what that says about me... What I'm trying to say is that I put it through so much: hair dryes,  irons, bleach,  hair dyes, etc., that's why I'm always looking for new ways to keep it healthy. A couple months ago, when I was on my way to pink hair, with the purchase or a hair dye I got a free sample of Elvives extraordinary oil, after bleaching NY hair y applying the blonde dyes I started using it. 

Lo que más me gustó fue que desde la primera vez que lo use sentí la diferencia, y en la primera semana de usarlo vi los cambios. Éste óleo de 6 flores preciosas es una maravilla... vuelve tu cabello sedoso y fácil de manejar, ayuda a eliminar la orzuela y le da un brillo y movimiento lo que me encanta. Mi cabello quedó un poco seco y maltratado después de dos decoloraciones, dos tintes rubios y estar constantemente aplicando una mezcla de tintes rosas pero este óleo le devolvió la vida en días. Es definitivamente un must, lo recomiendo totalmente. Según el envase puede ser usado en cualquier momento para ayudar con el frizz, retocar peinados, dar brillo y suavidad, incluso antes del secado para ayudar a proteger. 

What I liked the most was that from the first time I used it I felt the difference, and after a week using it I was able to see the changes. This oil from six precious flowers will do wonders for your hair, it makes it silky, easy to handle, help to get rid of open tips and it gives a beautiful shine and movement to your hair. It completely nourished it. My hair was a little dry and damaged after being bleached twice, two blonde dyes and the constant application of a mix of twomen pink dyes but this oil brought it back to life in days. It is definitely a must, I highly recommend it. According to the bottle it can be used at any point to help reduce the frizz, Retouch hairstyles, give shine and smith hair, even before using the hair dryer to help protect the hair.

Recientemente compré  el shampoo, acondicionador y óleo en crema, mi muestra gratis es  una versión de óleo/aceite pero me resulta más manejable la crema, ya que estoy encantada con los resultados y quiero ver qué  más puedo lograr al usar todos los productos de la línea. Sus precios son bastante accesibles, el shampoo y acondicionador en sus versiones de 750 ml. tienen un costo de 48 pesos mexicanos. 

I recently bought the shampoo and conditioner along with th extraordinary oil in a creamy balm, I love the results of just the oil so I can't wait to see what the rest of the line can do. The price is very low in México, so that was a plus too.

Algo que hice también,  fue ponerle vitamina B al shampoo ya que he estado leyendo que esto ayuda a que el cabello crezca más rápido,  pero cuando tenga resultados haré un post al respecto. 

Something I did too was put some vitamin b on the shampoo because I've been reading that this helps to make your hair grow faster, but I'll write about it when I see the results. 

A principios de mayo me teñi el cabello rosa, nunca había tenido tanto cabello de un color fantasía y la verdad era que moría por tenerlo. Creo que todos deberían probarlo alguna vez en la vida. Tener el cabello de uno de los colores del arco iris me dio una seguridad y una sensación de Free spirit que no había sentido antes. Me encantó.  Creo que fue intenso precisamente porque sabía que tendríamos que separarnos en algún momento, y así fue. Recientemente me cambie todo el cabello a castaño. Pero cada día que tuve el cabello rosa fue mágico.  Paso de un rosa intenso que me encantaba a un color rosa/naranja tipo salmón y finalmente a un rosa pastel que me gustaba muchísimo.
At the beginning of May I dyed my hair pink, I've never had so much hair dyed in a fantasy colour and I was dying to have it. I think everyone should try it at least once. Having your hair in one of the colors of the rainbow brought me a self confidence and free spirited feeling that I loves.  I think the reason my path with the pink hair was so intense was because I knew it would end. And it did. I'm a brunette now, but everyday with the pink hair was magical. It went from a bright pink to an orange pink salmon-like to a pastel pink that I really enjoyed.  

Así que ahora les traigo los tips y cuidados que yo tuve con mi cabello para mantener el color y no maltratarlo.
•Cortar las puntas antes de aplicar el color fantasía.
•Lavarlo de 3 a 4 veces a la semana, intercalando un shampoo que cuide el cabello y uno que mantenga el color.
•Usar acondicionador S I E M P R E.
•No estar mucho tiempo bajo el sol.
•Retocar el color cada dos semanas y dejarlo en el cabello por 15 o 20 minutos y después lavar el cabello con agua fría.
•Usar crema para peinar o algo similar, yo usaba una de sedal y a veces el óleo reparador de elvive (el cual merece todo un review que escribiré pronto)
•No tener absolutamente ningún producto en el cabello cuando aplicas el tinte, lavarlo antes con agua para retirar shampoo, acondicionador, cremas para peinar, etc.
So now I bring you some tips and cares that I had with my hair to keep the colour and keep it from damage.
•Cut the tips before applying the fantasy colour.
•Wash it 3 or 4 times a week, with a shampoo that takes care of damage hair and with one that helps to keep the colour.
•Use conditioner A L W A Y S
•Stay away from the sun as much as possible.
•Retouch the colour every two weeks and leave it on for 15 or 20 minutes and wash it off with cold water.
•Use hair creme or something similar, I used one from sedal and a elvive oil that deserves it's own review - coming soon.
•Wash off everything from shampoo to hair creme before applying the colour.

El cabello en color fantasía se ve genial pero necesita muchos cuidados, lo cual eventualmente se vuelve cansado pero es definitivamente una buena experiencia.
Hair on fantasy colour looks fantastic but it needs a lot of care which can become exhausting but it's definitely a good experience.
