Desde Enero se hizo pública la colaboración que habría entre Kristen Stewart y Nicholas Ghesquière para la nueva fragancia de Balenciaga: Florabotanica. Desde hace un par de meses han salido fotografías de Kristen y Nicholas y videos sobre las sesiones fotográficas, las fotos promocionales y un sin fin de entrevistas sobre la nueva fragancia. // Since January was released the collaboration that would be between Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Ghesquière for Balenciaga's new fragrance: Florabotanica. For the past couple of months there have been photos of Kristen and Nicholas, photoshoot videos, promotional photos and endless interviews about the new fragrance.

Creo que ya todos sabemos que Kristen Stewart es una actriz y no una "estrella de cine" como ella ha dicho. Su trabajo es lo que la inspira y hablar de ello es algo que puede hacer por horas, pero hablar de su vida privada es algo que no se puede lograr sin importar cuánto se haya tratado. Le aplaudo por ello. En Hollywood se puede vender desde una película hasta un romance y eso es algo en lo que ella no ha caído. Lo que es suyo, es suyo y así lo mantiene. Todo su discurso de "sé tú mismo, sigue tu corazón" es algo que personalmente apoyo, ya que actualmente estamos en un mundo que tiene estándares de belleza demasiado estrictos y en los que no cualquiera puede encajar, así que yo apoyo a cualquiera que se atreva a ser si mismo y además intente inspirar a los demás a serlo. Kristen Stewart ha estado ligada a Balenciaga desde hace un par de años y este año fue el segundo en que asistió a la presentación de la nueva colección. // I think that by now we all know that Kristen Stewart is an actress and not a "movie star", as she has said. Her work is what inspires her and talk about it is something she can do for hours, but talk about her private life is something that can not be achieved no matter how badly people have tried. I applaud her for that. In Hollywood a movie to a romance can be sold and that's something she has not fallen for. What's hers is hers and that how she keeps it. Her whole "be yourself, follow your heart" speech is something I personally support, because we are now in a world that is too strict with beauty standards and in which not everyone can fit in, so I support anyone who dares to be themselves and also tries to inspire others to be who they are. Kristen Stewart has been linked to Balenciaga for a couple of years and this year was the second she attended to the presentation of the new collection.

I want to see the look on his face when he sees me put on a dress.”

I find it unique and beautiful. In the print campaign photographed by Steven Meisel, Kristen appears wearing a dress from the flower collection, she stands fairly straight-legged and with her hands in her pockets. “I think that’s kind of perfect for this particular ad. Usually, a fragrance ad would definitely be like,” said Stewart, striking an exaggerated, sexy lounge pose on the couch. “When I first stood there, I was like, ‘OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?’ And they were like, ‘Just be comfortable.’ ” 

El perfume, compuesta por Olivier Polge y Hérault Jean-Christophe, cuenta con dos piezas clave. El vetiver, ámbar y hoja de caladium que pretende evocar una resonancia de madera cubierta de musgo oscuro y misterioso, de acuerdo a la marca. Las rosas, el clavel y la menta proporcionan alegría y frescura juvenil. La rosa en cuestión es un híbrido experimental originaria de Turquía, a la cual se ha agregado una formula de "plantas psicosensorial". // The juice, composed by Olivier Polge and Jean-Christophe Hérault, features two key accords. The vetiver, amber and caladium leaf accord aims to evoke a resonance of mossy and mysterious dark wood, according to the brand. The rose, carnation and mint accord delivers exhilaration and a juvenile freshness. The rose in question is a hybrid, experimental rose, with its origins in Turkey, to which a formula of “psychosensory plants” has been added.

Esta tarde Kristen fue parte de un LiveChat de Balenciaga en la que respondió a preguntas que se mandaron de todo el mundo a la página de Balenciaga. Entre sus respuestas, Kristen dijo que si Florabotanica fuera una persona, su personalidad sería "inegable y intrepida". También dijo que una buena fragancia puede cambiar como te sientes y que si tuviera que describir Florabotanica en tres palabras sería "peligrosa, fresca y francesa". Kristen lució relajada mientras reía con algunas preguntas y se inspiraba para contestar otras. Protagonizado por Scarlett Johanson y dirigido por Jean-Baptiste Mondino. El maquillaje es muy bonito y es un poco forzado el diálogo pero se ve muy linda.
