Tengo que admitirlo, desde que salió esta máscara de pestañas hace aproximadamente un año había tenido curiosidad de probarla ya que muchos bloggers y maquillistas dicen que es su máscara favorita de todos los tiempos. Estas son fuertes declaraciones, y moría por probarla así que cuando me dieron esta muestra de viaje estaba muy emocionada. Dice que da volumen, alarga y hace más dramáticas las pestañas con solo dos capas…mis pestañas son bastante regulares así que me gusta que las máscaras les den volumen pero en especial que duren por mucho tiempo. La prueba de fuego es ver en la noche como quedan mis pestañas, si están caídas, con ojos de mapache o si se cae en puntitos negros no pasa mi prueba.

I have to admit, since this mascara launched approximately one year ago I had the curiosity to try it since many beauty bloggers and makeup artist claim it’s their favorite mascara of all time. These are bold statements and I was dying to try it so when I got a travel sample I was super excited. It says it gives volume, elongates and makes more dramatic lashes with just two coats…my eyelashes are pretty regular so what I look for in mascaras is volume and especially that they stay put through the day. The final test is checking them at night to see how my lashes are holding, it they have dropped, if I have raccoon eyes or it flakes off.

En lo personal creo que es más el alboroto de mercadotecnia y en Youtube, me gustó pero no se si la volvería a comprar en tamaño grande. Sí da volumen y las alarga pero es un poco pesada y al final del día se cae en puntitos negros. Si mueres por probarla lo que te recomiendo es que vayas a un mostrador y pides que te la prueben en tus pestañas, checalo al final del día  y si te gusta cómpralo. En general Too Faced es de mis marcas favoritas pero en este producto estoy 50/50 decidida si me gusta o no.

Personally I believe it’s more marketing and Youtube buzz more than anything, I liked it but I’m not sure I’ll buy it in a big size. It gives volume and lengthens but it’s heavy and at the end of the day it flakes a little. If you’re dying to try it I recommend that you go to a counter and try it, if at the end of the day you’re convinced go and buy it. Generally Too Faced is one of my favorite brands but I’m 50/50 on this product.

En el post de hoy quería hacer una reseña de uno de mis productos favoritos de todos los tiempos, el agua micelar Sensibio de Bioderma. Todas las bloggers, maquillistas, dermatólogos y gurús de belleza recomiendan este producto así que lógicamente lo tenía que probar. Es una loción transparente que parece agua normal y con esta limpias tu rostro para quitar impurezas o maquillaje. Suena algo muy regular pero es maravillosa porque quita todo rastro de maquillaje (excepto waterproof) e impurezas del ambiente de la piel y no irrita para nada.

In today´s post I wanted to do a review from one of my all time favorite products, Bioderma Sensibio H2o Micellar water. Every beauty blogger, makeup artist, dermatologist and beauty guru recommend this product so naturally I had to try it. It's a transparent lotion that looks like regular water and you can clean your face to remove makeup or impurities. It sounds regular but it's wonderful because removes every trace of makeup (except waterproof) and impurities from the skin and doesn't irritate at all.  

Mi piel en general es mixta con áreas secas pero es muy sensible, casi siempre se enrojece con todo pero encuentro este producto perfecto para pieles sensibles. Hay muchos desmaquillantes que dicen ser para piel sensible arden pero este no arde nada e incluso ayuda a refrescar la piel. Dicen que es suficiente limpiar tu piel con esta loción pero te recomiendo que después de quitar tu maquillaje la limpies otra vez con un jabón suave de cara para quitar todo rastro de maquillaje e impurezas. Generalmente la uso en la noche, sobre un disco de algodón y quito todo el maquillaje y luego sigo con un jabón para piel mixta y sensible, tónico e hidratante. Puede sonar excesivo pero si cuidas tu piel y la desmaquillas tendrás menos problemas de acné y poros abiertos a la larga.

My skin is generally combination with dry areas but it's really sensitive, most of the times it gets red with just about everything but I find this product perfect for sensitive skin. There are a lot of makeup removers that claim to be for sensitive skin although they sting but this doesn't do this at all and even cools it. They say it's enough to clean your skin with this product but I recommend you that after you remove your makeup, you clean your face again with a mild face soap to remove every bit of makeup and impurities. I generally use it at night on a cotton pad to remove all my makeup and then follow with a soap for a sensitive combination skin, tonic and moisturizer. I know it may sound excessive but if you take care of your skin and properly cleanse it you'll have less problems with acne and open pores. 

En México este producto es un poco caro ya que es de importación, lo puedes conseguir en farmacias dermatológicas, supermercados, Liverpool o farmacias regulares. Si tienes algún conocido o vas a ir de viaje a Francia, te recomiendo mucho que vayas a una parafarmacia y la compres allá. Puede llegar a costar hasta una cuarta parte menos y generalmente hay ofertas.

In Mexico this product can be a bit expensive since it's imported, you can find it on dermatological pharmacies, supermarkets, Liverpool or regular pharmacies. If you know anybody or if you are going to France, I recommend that you go to a parapharmacie and buy it there. It can cost 4 times less and generally there are great offers.

Sé que es más de mitad de mes después pero no quería dejar de postear el favorito del mes pasado. He tenido varios favoritos de maquillaje aunque no he cambiado mi rutina mucho pero lo que se ha convertido mi nuevo favorito para el baño es el Gel de ducha granos de café de Brasil Yves Rocher.

I know that it´s passed half this month but I didn't want to keep from posting my favorite product from last month. I've had many makeup favorites although I haven't changed a lot my routine but what has become my new favorite for the bath is the Yves Rocher Shower cream Brazilian Coffee beans.

La verdad no he probado muchas cosas de esta marca así que decidí investigar que era lo mejor y en varios sitios recomendaban sus geles de baño por lo que compré este. Es sin duda el mejor gel de baño que he probado jamás. Generalmente son un poco resecantes en la piel aunque huelan rico, este es la excepción. Es como un híbrido de gel-crema que limpia e hidrata la piel y el olor es increíble. Huele como cuando están moliendo café recién tostado, sí eres un adict@ al café definitivamente tienes que probar este producto de baño.

Truth is I haven't tried a lot of things from this brand so I decided to investigate what was the best and in several places they recommended its shower gels so I bought this one. It's without a doubt the best shower gel/cream I've tried. In general I find them to be drying to the skin although they smell nice but this is the exception. It's like a gel-cream hybrid that cleanses and hydrates the skin and the smell is amazing. It smells like when they´re grinding freshly toasted coffee, if you're a coffee addict you definitely need to try this bath product. 

El precio en México es de 60 pesos y siempre hay muchas ofertas en la tienda en los geles y en otros productos. ¡Súper recomendable!

The price in Mexico is 60 pesos (4 USD or 3.20 €) and there are always lots of sales in the shower gels and general products in the store. So good!
