Primero que nada, debo confesar que soy una adicta total a los barnices de uñas y me encanta probar todos los colores bajo el arcoiris pero uno de los colores básicos que tod@s tenemos que tener es un tono nude. Si no sabes que color ponerte en cualquier ocasión (para el trabajo, para la escuela, una boda, para salir) este es el que necesitas. Encontrar el tono nude perfecto es difícil ya que muchos tienen demasiado rosa, blanco, café y pueden llegar a verse muy mal en las uñas. Cuando probé el tono Samoan Sand de OPI quedé enamorada, es un rosa palo que queda perfecto con mi tono de piel pero es lo suficientemente versátil para complementar muchos tonos de piel diferentes. Me encantó el color, lo opaco que es y que me duró casi una semana en las uñas sin retocar. Definitivamente necesitas este color de OPI si quieres el nude perfecto para tus uñas.

First of all, I must confess I'm a total addict to nail polishes and love to try every color under the rainbow but one of the basic color everyone needs is a nude. If you are undecided on what to wear on any ocasion (to work, go out, school, a wedding, etc.) this is the one shade you need. Finding the perfect one is difficult because they sometimes have too much pink, white or brown and can look a bit off on your nails. When I tried the shade Samoan Sand from OPI I fell in love, it's a tawny pink that matches mi skin tone perfectly and it's versatile enoguth to complement lots of skin tones. I loved the opacity and that it almost lasted an entire week without chipping. You definately need this OPI nail polish if you are looking for the perfect nude shade for your nails.

¿Qué producto sigues comprando a pesar de que ya tienes muchos en tu colección?

Creo que mi mayor debilidad son las paletas de sombras. Cada vez que veo que las marcas sacan sus nuevas colecciones, lo primero que veo son las paletas. En segundo lugar creo que los blushes… (:

 Which product do you still keep buying more of despite having plenty in your collection? 

I think my biggest weakness in makeup is definitely eyeshadow palettes. Everytime I see the brands releasing their new collections, the first thing I browse are the eyeshadow palettes. And in second place I love blushes.

¿Cuál es el producto con el cual no puedes vivir?

Creo que sería la base mineral original de Bareminerals, ha cambiado como me maquillo. Mi cara a veces se pone muy roja, con brotes y es muy sensible, así que necesito una base que cubra pero no empeore la situación, y esa hace todo eso bien. Después sería máscara de pestañas y blush;)

What's the one product you can't live without? 

I think it would be the Bareminerals original foundation, it has changed my makeup game. My face sometimes gets really red and with breakouts, on top it’s sensitive, so I need a foundation that covers but doesn´t aggravate my problem and it does just that. Then some mascara and blush ;)

 ¿Cuál es tu marca de maquillaje favorita?

Es una pregunta muy difícil, como escoger tu sabor de helado favorito…pero creo que mi marca favorita es Urban Decay. Todo lo que he probado es increíble, en especial sus paletas de sombras.

Favorite makeup brand?

This is a really hard question, like choosing your favorite ice cream flavor… but I think my favorite brand is Urban Decay. Everything I’ve tried from them is amazing and especially their eyeshadow palettes are the best. 

¿Qué tan grande es tu colección de maquillaje?

Tengo que admitirlo, es bastante grande pero es mi adicción.

 How big is your makeup collection?

I’ll have to admit it’s pretty big, it’s my addiction.

¿Y cómo la guardas?

Casi toda vive en un caja grande, toda ordenada y linda. Y tengo una bolsa de maquillaje afuera donde estan mis productos de diario.

And how do you store it? 

It lives in a box by my bed, all arranged and sparkly. And outside I keep a makeup bag with my daily essentials.

15 artículos :S y 5 son productos de labios. No me había dado cuenta que eran tantos productos.

How many items of makeup have you got in your handbag at the moment?  

15 items :S and 5 are lip products. I didn’t realized I had that much products

Creo que sería la de Viviannadoesmakeup, es mi Blogger favorita y tiene un gusto impecable. Si pudiera escoger dos, la otra sería Amelia Liana.

 I guess it would be Viviannadoesmakeup, she’s my favorite blogger and has amazing taste. Also if I could choose two, the other one will be Amelia Liana.

¿Cuánto te tardas usualmente en tu rutina de maquillaje y cuantos productos usas?

Generalmente me tardo 15-20 minutos y uso 10-12 productos. Primer de ojos, corrector, base, polvo, blush, sombras, máscara, delineador y algo en los labios. Sé que suena bastante pero me relaja maquillarme en las mañanas.

How long does your usual makeup routine take and how many products do you use? 

I'm usually take about 10-20 minutes to do my makeup with 10-12 products. Eyelid primer, concealer, foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadows, mascara, eyeliner and something on the lips. I know it sounds excessive but I find it relaxing to do my makeup in the mornings.

¿Qué está en tu lista de deseos de belleza?

Muchas cosas, pero la primera es el perfume Viva la Juicy.

En el post de hoy les traigo una reseña rápida de la nueva paleta de Maybelline "The Nudes". La verdad es que cuando empecé a ver en internet su lanzamiento me emocioné bastante, mi debilidad son las paletas de sombras, me encantan y apasionan con locura. Había visto varias reseñas antes de que llegara a México y cuando la vi en el supermercado tuvo que irse conmigo. Su precio en la mayoría de tiendas y supermercados es de 199 pesos y a veces hay ofertas de descuento.

In today's post I have a quick review of the new Maybelline palette "The Nudes". Truth is when I started to see online its launching I was quite excited, my weakness are eyeshadow palettes which I love like crazy. I've seen many reviews before it launched in Mexico and when I saw it in the drugstore it had to go home with me. 

La verdad es que no me gusta hablar mal de los productos y en general me encantan los productos Maybelline, pero no me encantó tanto como esperaba. Se que nada se comparará con las sombras Urban Decay o MAC, pero me pareció regular la pigmentación en general. Algunos tonos son bastante pigmentados pero otros tienen una textura dura y es difícil que se muestren en el párpado. La selección de colores es súper bonita y neutral pero ya que la textura cambia mucho entre las sombras, hay algunas que parecen ser la misma ya que no pintan mucho.

Sincerely I don't like talking trash about products especially Maybelline ones but it didn't wowed me as I expected. I know that nothing will compare with Urban Decay or MAC eyeshadows but generally I found the pigmentation pretty regular. Some shades are quite pigmented but others have a rough texture and it's hard to show in the eyelid. The shade selection is super pretty and neutral but because the texture varies a lot from shadow to shadow, some look like the same shade. 

Si se usa un primer o corrector bajo las sombras mejora considerablemente pero aún así no es una paleta que use mucho. No quiero decir que es una textura mala solo que no hay mucha consistencia entre la pigmentación de todos los tonos. He oído a varias bloggers decir que es una de sus paletas favoritas, para mí no es tan maravillosa. Sí se puede usar en especial si no te gusta que los looks queden súper smokey o estas aprendiendo a maquillarte.Teniendo esto en cuenta, te recomiendo que si estás pensando en comprarla, trates de probarla antes para ver si te gusta la pigmentación de la paleta.

If you use primer or concealer before the eyeshadows the pigmentation improves a lot but still is not a palette that I often use. I don't mean that it has a bad texture just that not every shade is consistent in the pigmentation. I've heard several bloggers saying is one of their favorite palettes but for me it's not that wonderful. You can use it, especially if you don't like super smokey looks or you are just learning to do your makeup. Keeping this in mind, I suggest that if you're thinking of buying it, test it before to see if you like the palette's pigmentation.
