Estamos tan emocionadas por el verano que hemos decidido hacer una serie de posts con inspiraciones para el verano, esta siendo la segunda En este post hablaremos un poco de nuestras inspiraciones para el cabello.

We are so excited about summer that we decided to make a serie of posts decided to our summer inspirations, this being the second one. In this post we're telling you a little about our inspirations for hair.

#1 Comenzando con el famosísimo cabello para playa que consiste en ondas perfectas creadas gracias a la sal, aire y agua de mar. No todas podemos pasar todos los días en la playa, pero si podemos tener ese cabello. En el mercado hay una gran variedad de Sprays para crear el efecto playero en tu cabello, en uno de nuestros posts pasados hicimos un DIY para que puedas hacerlo en tu casa, puedes checarlo dando click aquí.
#1 Starting with the very famous beach hair that is all about perfect waves created at the beach. Not all of  us can spend every day at the beach, but we can achieve this hair. You can find a lot of Beach Hair Sprays in stores, or you can do one yourself. In one of our old posts we brought you a DIY for his hair spray that will make your hair look super beach-y. You can find it here.


#2 Últimamente me he vuelto fan del cabello de colores, y estoy a días de volver mi cabello rosa. Por eso nuestra inspiración número dos son los cabellos de colores. Desde los rosas, azules y violetas en tonos pasteles hasta los eléctricos verdes y tonos neones. El cabello de colores tiene esta actitud de "me vale todo" que me encanta y me parece perfecta para el verano.
#2 Lately I've become a fan of crazy colors in your hair, and I'm days away of turning my hair pink. That's why our inspirations numer two is colorful hair. From baby/pastel pinks, blues, lavanders to electric greens and neon colors. Colorful has that "I don't give a damn" attitude that I love, ideal for summer. 

 

#3 El estilo ombré o mechas california llegó para quedarse un buen rato, le da una luz y brillo al cabello que me encanta. Es un estilo degradado que le da un toque natural y relajado, perfecto para cualquier época del año aunque yo soy más fan de los tonos oscuros para otoño e invierno. El estilo ombré se ve perfecto en verano ya que está inspirado en el cabello de las chicas surfistas.
#3 Ombré hair is here to stay, it gives light and color to your hair. It goes from dark to light giving different shades to your hair, I think this style looks good all year but I like it better for summer - I'm a fan of dark hair when it gets colder. Ombré hair is great for summer because it is also inspired in surfer girls.

 #4 El balayage es muy similar y confundido con el ombré, a lo que yo entiendo es que en realidad es un solo tono, más caramelo y no tan claro como el ombré que no va en todas las puntas y cuya intención es darle luz al cabello. Me agrada porque es un poco más sutil, entonces si te da miedo un cambio radical como las mechas california a.k.a ombré, puedes irte por este estilo que es más discreto.
#4 Balayage is very similar to ombré and it often gets confused with it, as far as I understand is that balayage is only about one shade, most likely in light brown or caramel, and it's not in all your hair. The intention with balayage is to give your hair a little light. I like it because it's more subtle, so if you're a little scared of going ombré (which is in all your hair) you can go for balayage and make it as subtle as you like.

#5 El cabello sun-kissed me gusta mucho porque es el más natural de todos, como su nombre lo dice tiene como propósito que parezca una aclaramiento natural provocado por el sol, puede ser tan sutil o notorio como quieras y va en tonos caramelo y rubio dándole luz y brillo al cabello.
#5 I like sun-kissed hair because it's the most natural style, as it's name says it it's intended to look like natural highlights caused by the sun. It can be as subtle or obvious as you want, and it looks awesome with caramel and/or blonde shades giving light and shine to your hair.

Pasando de los colores a los estilos: el verano es relajado y época de descanso - y fiesta, por eso en mi lista de inspiraciones están solo las trenzas y los accesorios para el cabello.

From color to styles: summer is relaxing and meant to rest - and party, that's why on my list of inspirations I only added braids and hair accesories.

#6 Hay muchísimos tipos de trenzas, la mayoría  se pueden adaptar para darte un look relajado y boho. Ya no hay pretextos para usarlas ya que youtube esta lleno de tutoriales para lograr desde las mas elegantes hasta las mas sencillas. Personalmente soy fanática de la trenza de 3, también conocida como la de cola de pescado, pero hay muchos tipos y tamaños que puedes usar para completar tu look en el verano.
#6 There are so many types of braids, most of them can adapt to a messy style so you can wear them on a more boho-relax-look. And there's no excuse to use them since youtube and pinterest are full of braid tutorials, you can find the messy and the stylish ones with just a couple clicks. I am personally a fan of the fishtail braid, but there are a lot of types and sizes to help you complete your summer look.

 

#7 Los accesorios en el cabello son algo que normalmente no uso, no sé porqué ya que me resultan muy lindos. Pueden darle un cambio totalmente radical a tu look, por eso este verano me he armado de unos cuantos para por fin usarlos. Algunos son bastante extremos pero se ven muy bien, creo que mucho consiste de para dónde piensas usarlos.
#7 Hair accesories are something I don't usually wear, I don't know why since I find them really cute. They can give a total change to your look, that's why I've gotten myself a few for the summer. Some are pretty radical but they look cuper cool, I think a lot has to do with for what and where you're wearing them.

Aquí estan cinco peinados para cuando no hay mucho tiempo de arreglarnos pero nos queremos ver bien. Hay unos más sencillos que otros pero la práctica los hace más fáciles y son una buena opción para cambiar de look.

Here are five hairstyles for when there's not much time to groom but we want to look nice. There a ones more simple than others but with a bit of practice they're easier and are a good option for a look change.

 

 

Un peinado muy sencillo y femenino para cuando no hay mucho tiempo, pero con un detalle que lo hace que resalte.

Éste es un poco más tardado pero es perfecto para salir a un lugar más formal pero no es complicado.

This one takes a bit longer but it's perfect for a more formal place yet it's not complicated.

Éste peinado funciona para casi todo tipo de cabellos y le da un toque diferente al fleco.

Éste es perfecto para el pelo largo y le da un toque diferente a una cola de caballo regular.

This is perfect for long hair and gives a different twist to your regular ponytail.

Trenza De Cuatro
Hoy traemos este fácil tutorial para la famosa trenza de cuatro cabos, que aunque parece muy complicada en realidad no lo es; sólo necesitas un poco de coordinación.
1. Para empezar, separa tu cabello en cuatro partes.
2. Toma el pedazo que quedó en un de las orillas, pásalo por la parte de arriba del pedazo que tiene a lado.
3. Ese mismo pásalo por la parte de abajo del que sigue.
4. Y por la parte de arriba del último.
5. Separa bien los cuatro pedazos de cabello para que no se te revuelvan.
6. El pedazo que te quedó en la orilla del lado que empezaste vuélvalo a pasar por encima del de a lado y repite así el proceso hasta que vuelva a quedar al final.
7. Repite este proceso hasta que termines con tu cabello. Es bastante fácil sólo debes recordar pasarlo por arriba y por abajo.

Four Strand Braid
Today we bring an easy tutorial for the famous four strand braid, it may look complicated but it really isn't, you only need a little coordination
1. First separate your hair into four sections
2. You're gonna start with the outside strand.
3. You're gonna bring it over 
4. And then under and then you're gonna bring it over again 
5. Make sure the strands are okay 
6. Then you're gonna take the one that's left on the outside part 
7. And repeat the over and under process until you're done with your hair. It's pretty simple, you only need to take the strand up and down.
